The website “Tatort Jonastal” sheds light on secret Nazi construction projects in the Jonastal during the Second World War, provides information on the historical background, eyewitness accounts and campaigns for the memory of the victims.

Jonastal Association

The website “gtgj.de” belongs to the Jonastal Association, which researches Nazi construction projects in the Arnstadt-Jonastal area and commemorates the victims of the S III camp complex.

Buchenwald Subcamp

The site deals with Ohrdruf Subcamp, the first concentration camp to be liberated by US troops, and describes its origins, the brutal living and working conditions of the prisoners and the events surrounding its liberation in April 1945.
